Rory McGovern

Rory leads the development management activities at DML. He works with Clients and Investors to understand and deliver against their aspirations and targets. From project inception to handover, Rory works with clients to establish, monitor and report against project appraisals and key performance metrics.

Since joining DML in 2017, Rory’s primary focus has been the Purpose Built Student Accommodation sector leading projects in Sheffield, Nottingham and Aberdeen delivering nearly 600 student rooms. He is a RICS qualified Project Management and has experience in delivering projects using both Traditional and Design and Build forms of contract.

Prior to DML, Rory worked at Mace for 8 years both in the UK and Qatar. This provided experience across many sectors including residential, education, healthcare and leisure both on projects and major programmes of works working as a Client side project manager and also a contractor.
